We do not hire people
to make calls.

We hire people who can talk to another human being without a script — because they understand what the law says and what is at stake.

How we work

We started Rieck because we refused to work that way any longer

We come from this industry. We have watched young case handlers sit with a script and a call target, and we have seen what that does to the cases and to the people. So we built the opposite.

  • No scripts

You talk to a person, not from a sheet of paper. You work out for yourself how the case is resolved — which is why we hire grown-ups.
  • No call targets

We do not count calls per hour. We look at whether the cases are resolved — and whether the debtor was treated decently along the way.
  • Lawyers are colleagues, not a supplier

Rieck Advokater sit in the same building. The law is not something you hand on and cross your fingers over. It is something you learn while you use it.
  • Responsibility from your first week

You get your own cases and your own direct line. Nobody shadows anybody for three months here.
  • Decency is not a poster on the wall

We speak decently to the debtor — including when the debtor owes money. It is not politeness. It is what makes people pay.
  • DKK 100,000 Where the industry usually gives up

    There is no ceiling

The case does not stop at the amount below, and it does not stop because it turned difficult. You follow it the whole way — into the bailiff’s court as well.
The day-to-day

What you will actually be doing

Not what a job advertisement says. What you do on a Tuesday.

  1. A Rieck case handler working at her laptop 01

    The cases are yours

Not a queue you take from the top of. You hold your own portfolio, you know the debtors, and you decide yourself when a case should be pressed and when it needs room to breathe.

  2. Two Rieck colleagues going through a case together at the desk 02

You make the calls — and you negotiate them

Instalment plans, objections, part payments. You are trusted to use your judgement, and you are allowed to get it wrong, as long as you learn from it.

  3. Two Rieck colleagues reading a document before the hearing 03

You appear in the bailiff’s court

Alongside a lawyer who has known the claim since the day the invoice went out. The first time as an observer. After that as the one who knows what happens next.

  4. Two Rieck colleagues talking a case through 04

You may say that it is not worth pursuing

If the debtor cannot pay, we say so to the client instead of passing the bill on. It costs us a case and earns us a client who trusts us.

Once you have sent it

We reply to every application. Including the ones we turn down.

You get an answer from a person who has read what you wrote. Not a receipt from a system that counted keywords.

Speculative application

Can you do something we lack? Then we would like to know.

The best people in this house did not arrive because a position was advertised. They wrote because they could do something we did not know we were missing. Tell us what you are good at — and we will work out whether there is a place for you.

Three lines will do. We read the content, not the formatting.
